Via "rational-fold branched coverings", spatial graphs in the 3- sphere can be constructed from strongly invertible knots.  In this  talk, the following question will be discussed: from which knots do  hyperbolic spatial graphs appear?  This is a joint work with K.  Ichihara at Osaka Sangyo University.
